In November we promoted a date on Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes UK Tour at Lincoln Drill Hall. The event proved that you can go to each one of Southside Johnny's concerts when he and the band come on their yearly tour and each one will be different.

Southside Johnny first achieved prominence in the mid-1970s as the second act to emerge from the Jersey Shore music scene, following Bruce Springsteen.

Southside's first three albums, I Don't Want to Go Home (1976), This Time It's For Real (1977), and Hearts of Stone (1978), were Stax-influenced R&B arranged and produced by the co-founder of the band and Springsteen confederate Steven Van Zandt.

Newsflash

We have been attending the Beverley Memorial Hall User Forum meetings. There are plans to close the Memorial Hall in March 2010 (latest date announced) in order to refurbish it. Plans may be viewed on the www.eastriding.gov.uk website. The User Forum advises on the plans in order to ensure that the development makes best use of the resources available and takes into consideration the possible future as well as present use of the Memorial Hall.
