Stan Webb's Chicken Shack are a blues - rock band well known for their definitive rendition of "I'd Rather Go Blind".

Stan Webb, the group's front-man is renowned for entering crowds at performances, using a 100 metre long guitar lead.

Since the bands inception in 1965 Stan Webb's Chicken Shack has thrilled audiences with their raw impulsive take on the Chicago Blues and their own inspired British Blues based compositions.

Founding member Christine Perfect, who left to join Fleetwood Mac, was voted Best Female Vocalist in the Melody Maker polls for 2 years running.

Chicken Shack continue to tour and appear regularly at Rock and Roll Festivals.
