Beverley is an attractive market town with an imposing medieval minster situated in the East Riding of Yorkshire near Hull and York.

There are a various festivals held throughout the year, some of which are very long-standing with a national reputation. A number of activities and events are also organised that appeal to a range of ages.

However there is no arts centre and some types of performance are not well represented on the Beverley arts scene calendar. Our aim is to change this.

Beverley has a number of very good restaurants and cafes and a number of pubs with good beer and an interesting history.

Beverley racecourse holds regular meetings and is a short walk from town in the undulating common land known as The Westwood, a popular spot where the local residents happily co-exist whilst taking picnics, walking and kite-flying whilst dodging cows and golf balls.
