Constitution
BEVERLEY ARTS TRUST is run on a not for profit basis with an agreed constitution by a committee that have met on a regular basis since 2005.
Members shall at all times strive to achieve the aims and objectives of BEVERLEY ARTS TRUST.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
To raise the profile and accessibility of Arts and Cultural events in Beverley the surrounding area of East Yorkshire.
To raise awareness of diverse cultures, whether this be geographical / ethnic diversity, or diversity of age or ability.
To reach new audiences and explore different performance venues.
To promote inventive and innovative Arts in many shapes and forms.
To promote high standards of professional Arts.
To encourage people and families of all ages, races, religions and abilities to participate in and appreciate the arts.
To promote the arts in schools, community venues and disadvantaged areas, wherever appropriate in collaboration with other organisations and the local authority.
To promote a range of participation and skill development workshops and projects to children and adults if relevant to planned events.
To actively encourage partnerships between BEVERLEY ARTS TRUST and other organisations in order to develop our work and share our experience.
To constantly update and enhance members own skills and knowledge by attending external training sessions or conferences whenever possible.
To provide opportunities of training to volunteers in the course of planned events when possible or appropriate.
